my final year at Mayflower high school, that is found in Mpumalanga province.
I have finish my schooling at mayflower high school that is located in the area that is called mpuluzi..most of the community members are unemployed, they vacate to the nearest cities,where they can get some green pastures. Mpuluzi township is filled with three high school which usually perform better compare to other resourceful school.service delivery is not in good place, last year the community burnt down the municipality offices
i matriculate at mayflower high, where i was doing science.the most interesting news is that everyone in my class manage to pass grade 12, that shows that learners from mayflower high are hard workers. they do not need to be pushed in order to do well. my favorite subject at school was agricultural sciences,it most based on how deal with raw materials processing them to add valve.mathematics was also my favorite subject in school ,as our school had the best teacher in maths.
mayflower high school is a no fee school, so it depends from tho government in everything. during my final year which is 2013 we were having some equipment like computers,but they were not ready to be used by learners.and for that i can say our school was not well equipped

our background shouldn't determine our future. hence I am saying we are coming from schools with no technological means of learning but given the opportunity to practice ICT at the current moment, we should make use of it and strive towards excellence to ensure that we are highly equipped at the end of the program.
ReplyDeleteYes nathi our backround shouldn't determine our future but it should make us want to change it and and make it better for the next generation.if only all people who left their homes for varsity would do what is expected from them ,our communities would have been much batter than they are now.

ReplyDeleteThat is wonderful Mthokozisi to see the progress of your school performance. you were lucky to have hard workers at your school ,this means that they also motivate you to do your work best. To live in the rural area that does not mean you are poor what you need to do be an example in your community. Now all the gates a open for you to change your life, word hard boy.
ReplyDeletebeing in rural areas does not mean you have no future and you wont succeed in life. what's good is that you did make it in your grade 12 and also your classmates. you must set a good example to all those who are unemployed and those who are at school to work hard and obtain good marks so that they will study and be able to change the community you are living to a better place. change of your community is in your hands, you must encourage them
ReplyDeletethis means the are few job opportunities in your area that is why most of the communities members move to other places.your school did well which mean you were having the quality of teachers who know what is expectated from them. the lack of infrastructer has no effect on the school passing rate keep it up
